I'm working on some baby quilts right now. I've started backing all my baby quilts with mink fabric--after the ever-loved Blankie. I'm thinking about machine quilting them myself--Any tips Abby?

My tips? Baste well. Use a darning foot and drop your feed dogs. Put on a good movie or audio book. The more you do, the easier it is. I can only do free hand on my machine. Doing lines is really tricky. And I make lots of mistakes. :)
Machine quilting mink fabric? Sounds like a nightmare.
